Mr. Vu Quyet Tien was appointed Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee.

On April 27, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on personnel work.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to assign and transfer Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee to work at the Ha Long City Party Committee and appointed him to join the Executive Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, term 25, 2020 - 2025.

Mr. Vu Quyet Tien (right) received the decision to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee.

Mr. Vu Quyet Tien's predecessor, Mr. Vu Van Dien, was previously elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Vu Quyet Tien has held the following positions: Head of the Organization Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Director of Quang Ninh Department of Home Affairs, Secretary of Cam Pha City Party Committee, Chairman of Cam Pha City People's Committee.

Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee announced the decision on the assignment and appointment of Ms. Bui Thuy Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.

Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Phuong received the decision to hold the position of Head of the Organization Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Phuong has held the following positions: Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ninh; Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School (Quang Ninh); Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the newly appointed officials have all held many positions, worked in-depth, have a lot of practical experience in many fields of work and have also affirmed their capacity and qualifications during their work; contributing together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee, helping the Provincial Party Committee overcome many difficult and challenging periods, especially in the context of the 3-year period (2020 - 2022) affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, so that Quang Ninh can maintain stable development as it is today.
