The event marks three decades of OUP's continuous efforts to provide quality English learning solutions that are suitable to local needs, contributing to improving language proficiency and preparing generations of Vietnamese students to become global citizens with a solid knowledge base.

Since its inception in Vietnam, OUP has been steadfast in its mission of supporting lifelong learning by providing high-quality English teaching and learning materials. OUP's curricula not only meet international standards but are also adapted to the curriculum and learning culture in Vietnam. Through this, OUP has contributed to equipping students with essential skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, collaboration and creativity - core competencies in the 21st century.

On this occasion, OUP would like to express our deep gratitude to our strategic partners, educators , schools, teachers, parents and millions of students across the country who have trusted and chosen OUP's English textbooks over the past 30 years. The companionship and support of the Vietnamese education community is the driving force for OUP to constantly innovate and improve its educational products and services.

OUP also reaffirms its commitment to continue providing comprehensive educational solutions for English teaching and learning in Vietnam. In the coming time, OUP will promote the implementation of professional training programs for teachers, helping them update modern teaching methods, apply technology and develop pedagogical skills. At the same time, OUP will continue to develop useful, creative and inspiring learning programs for students - from traditional classrooms to online learning environments. In the context of globalization and digital transformation, OUP is committed to continuing to accompany Vietnamese education in improving the quality of English teaching, developing young human resources and promoting international integration.

An important highlight in OUP's educational strategy is the implementation of the Oxford Test of English (OTE) - an English proficiency assessment designed according to CEFR standards, helping learners accurately determine their English proficiency and use the results for the purpose of studying, working or studying abroad. In particular, the OTE test has been approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to jointly organize the test and issue certificates in Vietnam. This will help students access more opportunities to develop and succeed in study, work and life through an English proficiency assessment test based on real-life situations, recognized by many international organizations thanks to its high reliability, flexibility and strict assessment standards. UKTA is currently the exclusive distributor of the OTE test in Vietnam. The opening of three test centers, including PTE APAC Education in Da Nang and UKTA in Hanoi, demonstrates the effort to expand the network of access and create favorable conditions for learners nationwide. OUP and UKTA hope to attract more candidates to participate, contributing to improving the quality of English proficiency testing in Vietnam.

The 30th anniversary event of OUP in Vietnam was honored to have the presence of Mr. Iain Frew - Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Vietnam, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, senior managers of OUP globally and in Asia, and hundreds of representatives from educational units, schools, and training organizations nationwide. This is an opportunity for all parties to look back on the journey of cooperation, share achievements and orient the future development of language education in Vietnam.
