Pattie Boyd (80 years old) has been married to two singer/songwriter husbands. She was the inspiration for George Harrison's Something and Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight and Layla .
More than 100 items, including jewelry, clothing, photographs, handwritten song lyrics, and drawings by George Harrison from the "Pattie Boyd Collection," are being auctioned online at Christie's from March 15 to March 22.

"If there was a big treasure chest that described my life, all of these items would be in it... These are all mementos of the wonderful life I've had," Pattie Boyd told Reuters at a press conference on March 14.
Notable lots from the auction include a painting of Derek and The Dominos chosen by Clapton for the cover of his 1970 album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs , with an estimated selling price of $51,000 - $76,000, and George Harrison's 1982 handwritten version of Mystical One, estimated at $38,000 - $64,000.
Pattie Boyd met George Harrison on the set of The Beatles' 1964 musical film A Hard Day's Night . They married in 1966 and divorced in 1977. Photos of the couple and handwritten postcards from The Beatles are also included in the auction.

Eric Clapton was infatuated with Boyd, sending her a letter (now auctioned) in 1970, in which he wrote: "... What I want to ask you is whether you still love your husband... These questions are very impertinent, I know, but if you still have feelings for me... then you must let me know!".
Pattie Boyd eventually split from Harrison and was married to Clapton from 1979 to 1989. Photographs of Eric Clapton, including those with Harrison and other famous faces, are also being auctioned.
"When I look at Eric Clapton's letters, my heart breaks because I realize... I was young when he wrote them," said Pattie Boyd. The auction items are on public display at Christie's in New York from March 15 to 21.
