The Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) has just announced a plan to divert and restrict traffic towards Hanoi to serve the A80 festival.
Accordingly, the time frame for restricting road vehicles operating in the direction of Hanoi is from 3:00 p.m. on August 21 to 5:00 a.m. on August 22; from 3:00 p.m. on August 24 to 5:00 a.m. on August 25; from 3:00 p.m. on August 27 to 5:00 a.m. on August 28; from 4:00 p.m. on August 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 30 and from 4:00 p.m. on September 1 to 5:00 p.m. on September 2.
Restricted vehicles include trucks of 10 tons or more and passenger cars of 45 seats or more.
The expressways with restricted movement include: Hanoi - Ninh Binh from Thuong Tin intersection (Km 192+300, Hong Van commune, Hanoi), Hanoi - Hai Phong from Yen My intersection (Km 21+500), Hanoi - Thai Nguyen from Van Xuan intersection (intersection with National Highway 3 at Km40+700) to the intersection with National Highway 18 (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province), Hanoi - Lao Cai from Binh Xuyen - IC3 intersection (CT05 intersection with Provincial Road 310B in Binh Xuyen commune, Phu Tho province).
National highways with restricted traffic include: National Highway 1 from the intersection of Phan Trong Tue Street (Provincial Highway 70A) to Ngoc Hoi (National Highway 1), National Highway 1 from the intersection with Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway to the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (Km 152+600 National Highway 1).
In addition, there is National Highway 2 from the intersection of National Highway 2 with Vo Van Kiet Street; National Highway 3 from the Cavalry Police Regiment (Ba Xuyen Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) to the intersection of Cach Mang Thang Tam Street; National Highway 3 from the Nam Tien intersection (Km 46+650) with Tran Nguyen Han Street (Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) to the Van Xuan intersection.
National Highway 5 is restricted from the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Van Cu underpass intersection; National Highway 6 from the intersection with Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh road (Km 65+100); National Highway 21A from the intersection with National Highway 32 to Cho Ben intersection; National Highway 18 from the intersection with Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway (Yen Phong commune, Bac Ninh province).
On September 2, Vietnam will hold a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. The parade will have the full participation of forces, including land, motorized, airborne and water forces. The parade will have nearly 16,000 people, including 43 walking units, 18 standing units and 14 military and special vehicles of the army and police.
