On September 28th, at Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School ( Hanoi ), Cathay Life Insurance Vietnam, in collaboration with the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper, organized the launch ceremony for the 16th "I Draw My Dreams" competition.

The launch ceremony attracted the participation of more than 300 young elementary school "artists" from schools in Hanoi.

Open to children aged 6 to 10 nationwide, the competition will take place from September 5th, 2024 to October 10th, 2024. Results and awards ceremonies are expected to be announced between November 6th and 30th, 2024. The total prize value for the competition is 558 million VND, comprising 368 prizes.
In addition, to facilitate participation from students nationwide, the organizers provided over 23,000 colored pencils and over 230,000 drawing papers free of charge.

For the past 16 years, despite facing numerous challenges amidst market fluctuations, Cathay Life Vietnam has strived to maintain the "I Draw My Dreams" program as an annual activity for students nationwide at the beginning of each school year. After 16 years of implementation, the competition has expanded significantly, with the number of entries increasing each year. In 2023, the organizing committee received 166,955 entries, demonstrating the enthusiastic participation of students across the country.

The "I Draw My Dreams" competition is a valuable platform for students to express their dreams. Cathay Vietnam hopes that through this competition, they will discover talented artists and help parents better understand their children's dreams, thereby helping them set goals and plan for their future.

Despite overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges in the past, Cathay Life Vietnam continues to maintain beneficial activities for children and make positive contributions to society, such as: donating nearly 80 bicycles to help underprivileged children in remote areas get to school; bringing clean water to schools; implementing the "Prosperous and Talented with Cathay" scholarship program to support students nationwide…
“Cathay Life is proud and happy to have contributed and shared over VND 15 billion to the community through programs such as: 'Thinh Tri Thanh Tai Scholarship with Cathay', 'I Draw My Dreams' and other charitable programs over the years. Alongside the goal of providing a better life for customers with a variety of quality insurance products and services, Cathay will continuously focus on developing social welfare activities, nurturing young talents, and contributing to building a bright future in Vietnam,” shared a representative of Cathay Life Vietnam.
