On September 28, at Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School ( Hanoi ), Cathay Life Insurance Company Vietnam in collaboration with Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspapers organized the launching ceremony of the 16th "I draw my dream" contest.

The launching ceremony attracted the participation of more than 300 elementary school "artists" from schools in Hanoi.

For children aged 6 to 10 nationwide, the contest will take place from September 5, 2024 to October 10, 2024, with the results expected to be announced and the awards ceremony scheduled for November 6 to 30, 2024. The total prize value of the contest is 558 million VND, including 368 prizes.

In addition, to facilitate students nationwide to participate in the contest, the organizing committee supported more than 23,000 colored pencils and more than 230,000 free drawing papers.

Over the past 16 years, despite many difficulties due to market fluctuations, Cathay Life Vietnam has still strived to maintain the program "I draw my dream" to become an annual activity for students nationwide at the beginning of the new school year. After 16 years of implementation, the contest has been increasingly expanded with the number of entries increasing each year. In 2023, the Organizing Committee received up to 166,955 entries, showing the enthusiastic response of a large number of students nationwide.

The contest “I draw my dream” is a useful playground, helping students to sketch out their dreams. Cathay Vietnam hopes that through the contest, it will discover drawing talents, and at the same time help parents understand more about their children's dreams, thereby helping them set goals and plan to build their dreams in the future.
