The Miss Vietnam 2024 pageant with the theme Radiant Vietnam is a special event, marking an important period of the country entering a new era. The theme not only affirms the beauty of Vietnamese women but also demonstrates the strong connection between traditional cultural values and the country's remarkable development in the new era.
Speaking at the program, journalist Tran Ngoc Tuan - Head of Tien Phong Newspaper Representative Office in the Central region said that the University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang ) is the third destination in the series of recruitment activities for Miss Vietnam 2024, and this is also the most special destination, where Miss Vietnam 2022, Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is studying.
"At the Miss Vietnam recruitment day today, we hope to continue spreading the spirit and values that Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy has brought, not only beauty but also Vietnamese intelligence and culture. Dr. Huynh Ngoc Mai Kha, Vice Principal of the School, said that with the philosophy of "Humanity - Creativity - Adaptability", the University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) trains bachelors with solid professional knowledge, pure ethics, compassion and readiness to receive the quintessence and knowledge of humanity, integrating into a multicultural and multilingual working environment. And this philosophy, Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy brought to the Miss International Finals in 2024 in Japan, where with her sincerity, inner strength and language ability, Miss Vietnam 2022 conquered 75 contestants and the Organizing Committee to win the most prestigious title.
"In particular, student Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, a student of the Faculty of English, is very talented and outstanding, winning the title of Miss Vietnam 2022; and crowned Miss International 2024. This also proves that the training environment at Danang University is of high quality, training generations of dynamic, creative students with high adaptability in new environments. We always focus on comprehensive development for students, not only in the field of expertise but also pay special attention to training skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility towards the community," said Dr. Huynh Ngoc Mai Kha.
