On February 22, in Hanoi, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Vietnam Post Corporation and Vietnam Stamp Association officially launched the 2023 Stamp Collection and Learning Contest with the theme "My Fatherland through postage stamps."

The contest takes place from February 22 to May 31. This is a healthy and useful playground for team members and children from 8 to 15 years old (grades 3 to 9) who are living and studying in primary schools, secondary schools, palaces, children's houses, and youth activity centers nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, President of the Central Training Council Le Anh Quan said that with the theme "My Fatherland through postage stamps ," the contest has a particularly important meaning, as historical lessonseducate about love for the homeland, helping children to be more proud of the Fatherland of Vietnam ; thereby raising awareness and responsibility of today's generation of Vietnamese children, contributing to the cause of protecting and maintaining the sacred sovereignty of the country.

Responding to the 6 weeks of peak competition towards the 60th anniversary of the "Thousand Good Deeds" movement, on this occasion, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers presented the Dich Vong A Primary School Young Pioneers Union with a set of team drums and 24 Young Pioneers' flags for 24 teams.

The Central Council of the Young Pioneers hopes that all team members and children of the team will always promote the good traditions of the team organization, and be ready to share love with friends and people around them.

To participate in the 2023 stamp collecting and learning contest, children collect stamp samples and answer questions related to the contest theme provided by the organizers; write open-ended essays related to the contest theme.

Contest entries must be presented on clean A4 paper or squared paper, without erasures; answer all questions fully; use easy-to-understand, clear, coherent language; do not use copied material.

Entries must not have been published in books, magazines or any other mass media.

The Organizing Committee encourages handwritten entries and the collection of stamps as evidence for the content of the entry (images and documents must be authentic and clearly captioned).

Entries must clearly state full name, date of birth, school, class, school address, home address and contact phone number.

Entries with incomplete personal information are invalid entries to the contest.

Candidates send their entries by post (with stamp) to the address: Vietnam Children Support and Development Center (7th Floor, 64 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

Deadline for submission of entries is May 31 (postmark).

The envelope must clearly state: The 2023 stamp collection and research contest entry with the theme "My Fatherland through postage stamps."
