The competition with the theme "80 days and nights of exemplary action" takes place from October 10 to December 30.

Accordingly, officers, employees and soldiers of the Political Department of Military Region 9 compete to fulfill the following contents and targets: Strengthening education and propaganda to raise awareness, responsibility and determination for 100% of officers and soldiers to have strong political will, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; competing to excellently complete political tasks, especially strictly maintaining combat readiness regime, completing the 2025 training plan and program; well implementing digital transformation work, the "Digital Education for All" movement; democracy, good solidarity, strict discipline...

Agencies and units signed the emulation covenant at the launching ceremony.

Speaking at the emulation launching ceremony, Major General Trinh Hoang Phong, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 9, emphasized: "Welcoming the 80th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' Traditional Day is an event of special significance for officers and soldiers of the Military Region's Political Department. Promoting the achieved results, I believe that officers and soldiers will continue to uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, dynamism, creativity, successfully completing the emulation content and targets, and excellently completing all assigned tasks."

On this occasion, the Political Department of Military Region 9 awarded certificates of merit to 46 individuals with good achievements in the peak emulation campaign "Raising the August Red Flag - Emulating to Win 3 First Places", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; and proposed that the Military Region 9 Command commend 1 collective and 3 individuals.
