Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain and water flowing from upstream, some low-lying areas in Chan May - Lang Co commune, Hue city were flooded. Specifically, in Thuy Yen Thuong village and Thuy Cam village, the flood level fluctuated from 0.4m to 0.7m.

Faced with that situation, Chan May Port Border Guard Station mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces and authorities to evacuate 5 households with 17 people out of the flooded area, ensuring absolute safety for people and property.

Currently, forces are continuing to review and monitor the development of floods, proactively developing and implementing plans to evacuate remaining households in areas at risk of deep flooding, flash floods and landslides.

The Hue City Border Guard Command directed units to strictly maintain on-duty regimes, proactively grasp the situation, synchronously deploy measures to prevent and combat natural disasters, absolutely not to be passive or surprised; at the same time, be ready with forces and means to participate in response, rescue and relief when situations arise.
