Launching the Photo Contest and Exhibition "Vietnam through the Lens of International Photographers"

(LĐ online) - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH-TT-DL) of Lam Dong has just launched a response to the Photo Contest and Exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to all professional and amateur photographers in the whole province.

The contest is an opportunity to promote the beauty of Lam Dong land and people to the world.

Accordingly, the Photo Contest and Exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" is part of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 activities. The contest aims to collect beautiful and diverse photos of Vietnam, including the dreamy Hue from photographers and photography enthusiasts around the world. This is also an opportunity for international and Vietnamese authors to exchange, learn and introduce their creative achievements. Encourage works that explore and create new content and forms of expression that carry the cultural and spiritual values of the Vietnamese people. Thereby, expressing the beauty of people, culture, history, architecture, and landscapes of Vietnam and Hue city.

Contest entries are not limited in time of creation, works taken within the last 2 years are encouraged; must be single photos, created using realistic methods; photos that are collaged, erased, added, or distorted from reality are not accepted.

Each author can submit up to 20 photos in digital format, JPG format, 4Mb - 6Mb in size, 300dpi resolution. Photos created by artificial intelligence (AI) are not accepted.

The submitted works have never been displayed or won awards at the Photo Exhibition “Vietnam through the lens of international photographers”, national and international competitions organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition).

Contest photos are sent directly to the website: vipfhue2025.vn, from now until June 15, 2025.

The organizing committee will select 200 works to display at the exhibition, of which the 20 best works will be awarded equal prizes, 10 million VND/prize.

The contest is an opportunity to promote the beauty of Lam Dong land and people to the world ( photo taken at the boat racing festival at Da Ham Lake - Da Huoai )

In addition to the official award, there are many cash prizes, gifts or preferential services for outstanding works of the sponsor.

To contribute to the success of the contest and exhibition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province requests the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, People's Committees of districts and cities to widely disseminate and create conditions for members, union members, organizations, individuals, professional and amateur photographers to participate in the Contest. This is an opportunity to promote the beauty of Lam Dong land and people to domestic and international friends.
