Two people were found possessing weapons and illegally growing marijuana in the room.

At 1:30 a.m. on June 20, through patrolling the area and taking professional measures, Task Force 363 - Binh Tan District Police discovered a young man with suspicious signs and proceeded to check.

The young man gave his name as Huynh Thanh Phu (20 years old, from Binh Thuan, currently residing in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). Checking Phu's phone, the task force discovered information and images showing "illegal cultivation of marijuana" at a house in Binh Hung Hoa B Ward (Binh Tan District).

Team 363 coordinated with the Ward Police to inspect the house above and discovered a black crossbody bag in the kitchen cabinet, inside was a pistol; 23 bullets with copper casings and lead tips. In addition, on the 2nd floor there were 30 green plants, suspected to be marijuana plants. Also in the house was Tran Duc Anh Nang (29 years old, residing in Binh Tan District).

Huynh Thanh Phu confessed that he bought the gun on social media from an unknown person for 1.1 million VND. The green plants found in the room on the second floor belonged to Tran Duc Anh Nang. Nang confessed that he bought marijuana seeds online to plant for 4.5 million VND. The case is currently under investigation.
