Two more rare animal species discovered in Chu Mom Ray National Park

QNgTV- A camera trap system (automatic cameras installed in the forest) has discovered extremely rare Asian bears and red-faced chickens in Chu Mom Ray National Park (Quang Ngai province).

On October 10, according to Chu Mom Ray National Park ( Quang Ngai province), through the camera trap system installed in the forest , two more animal species belonging to group IB, this is an extremely rare group that is prioritized for protection. The recorded photos confirmed the presence of the Asian black bear and the red-faced chicken. These are two species in the endangered and rare list.

A pair of red-crowned chickens, a group IB wild animal, appears in the Chu Mom Ray primeval forest area.

Notably, the location of these individuals is different from previous records, showing that their distribution range is expanding, reflecting a positive signal in biological conservation work in the area.  

Currently, the Chu Mom Ray National Park Management Board has installed 280 automatic cameras to monitor biodiversity. This system helps monitor and record images of animals in the wild, serving research and conservation work.
