Firstly, this facility provided cosmetic services without a written notification of meeting the conditions to be sent to the competent state agency as prescribed by law. Secondly, it provided medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment. Thirdly, it traded in goods of unknown origin, including syringes, nasal cartilage, injectable drugs, etc.

In addition to the fine of VND183,628,000, this facility was suspended from tattooing activities for 18 months and from medical examination and treatment activities for 18 months. This facility also had the violated items confiscated and was forced to return the illegal profits of VND628,000 obtained from the violation.

In this case, Chiropractic Joint Stock Company (Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) was also fined 111 million VND. Reasons: the signboard did not contain enough basic information as prescribed by law; the practitioner did not register to practice medical examination and treatment as prescribed by law; the names of departments and rooms in the medical examination and treatment facility were not consistent with the medical examination and treatment license records issued by the competent authority; advertising special products, goods and services without the competent state agency confirming the content before advertising as prescribed; using practitioners without a medical examination and treatment practice certificate

In addition, Trung Anh Cosmetic International Aesthetics Company Limited - Lavian Dermatology and Aesthetics Clinic (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) was also fined for not keeping a complete medical examination and treatment record; not keeping a medical record according to the form; the practitioner responsible for professional expertise was not present at the facility.

Van Lang General Clinic (233A Phan Van Tri, Ward 11, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) under Van Lang Healthcare Company Limited was fined VND 8 million for the reason that the practitioner did not register to practice medical examination and treatment according to the law at the business location of Van Lang Healthcare Company Limited.

Recently, the Department of Health Inspectorate has continuously discovered and punished cosmetic establishments, clinics, and individuals who violated the law. People should carefully research and choose reputable service providers.
