According to the producer and distributor representative, on the first day of early screening, the film attracted more than 120,000 viewers to the theater, earning over 12 billion VND in revenue - a figure far surpassing the previous leading film , Conan Movie 28: Afterimage of the One-Eyed Man .

From July 30 to noon August 1, Mang Me Di Bo continued to maintain its top spot at the box office. As of 11:30 on August 1, the film's total revenue had reached more than 26 billion VND, promising to continue to increase strongly over the weekend.
The touching story of mother-daughter love between Le Thi Hanh and Hoan is the main factor that makes the film touch the viewers’ emotions. Many viewers shared that they could not hold back their tears during the tumultuous journey that the two main characters had to go through.
The genuine and emotional acting of the two main actors Tuan Tran and Hong Dao was also highly appreciated. Interspersed between the heavy scenes are light comedy situations, helping to balance the emotions of the viewers.
However, the film also received mixed reviews. Many viewers said that the ending was not really satisfactory, leaving a feeling of incompleteness even though the overall content was still meaningful.

One of the factors that helped Mang Me Di Bo attract attention was the appearance of Korean stars, especially actor Jung Il-woo - who is known as "Vietnamese son-in-law". Not only appearing in the film, Jung Il-woo also directly accompanied many promotional activities such as cinetour, audience exchange, special screenings for fans, and many other media events....

He said he “cried 5 times” while watching the movie and promised to return to Vietnam to hold a fan meeting if the movie reached 5 million ticket sales. In addition, the actor also expressed his willingness to participate in the Running Man Vietnam program if invited, and will post the song “ Le Da” that he sang in Vietnamese on his personal YouTube channel.

The film also has a surprise cameo appearance by Go Kyung-pyo as Ji-hwan, the eldest son who was separated from his mother when he was young. Although he only appears in a short scene, the actor's emotional gaze brings one of the most precious moments of the film.

Mang Me Di Bo is rated K (a film suitable for audiences under 13 years old with a guardian) and is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
