(HNMO) - On the afternoon of May 29, on the occasion of Buddha's birthday 2023, Buddhist calendar 2567, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong led the city's working delegation to visit and congratulate the Central Propagation Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at Ly Trieu Quoc Su Pagoda (50 Ly Quoc Su Street, Hoan Kiem District).

Welcoming the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Bao Nghiem, Vice President of the Executive Council, Head of the Propagation Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hanoi city.

Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong presented flowers and sent wishes to the Sangha, monks, nuns and Buddhists to celebrate a peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday; at the same time, he expressed his belief that in the coming time, he will continue to receive support from the Central Propagation Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hanoi in the city's activities, contributing to the development of the capital to become more and more civilized, civilized and modern.
