Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen visited families affected by fire in Cai Nuoc commune.

On the afternoon of July 28, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen visited, encouraged and provided support to households affected by the fire in Hamlet 2, Cai Nuoc Commune.

Previously, at around 4:55 a.m. on July 28, a large fire suddenly broke out at a spicy noodle shop in Hamlet 2, Cai Nuoc Commune. The fire quickly spread and burned down 4 more adjacent houses, causing major property damage.

Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting force and functional units urgently arrived at the scene, deployed fire fighting measures and assisted people in moving their properties to a safe place. By about 6:00 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically controlled and completely extinguished. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any human casualties. Currently, the authorities are investigating and determining the cause of the fire.

The delegation visited and encouraged households affected by the fire.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen kindly visited and expressed his deep condolences to the unfortunate households affected by the fire and presented 10 million VND in support to the households with total damage, 5 million VND to each affected household, encouraging the households to maintain their spirits, overcome difficulties soon, and gradually stabilize their lives.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen requested the relevant agencies to urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the fire; at the same time, remind local authorities to strengthen propaganda work to help people understand the skills to ensure fire prevention and fighting safety, especially in business and trading areas with high risk of fire and explosion; continue to pay attention to and create favorable conditions to support people to overcome the consequences, ensuring social security in the area.
