Regarding the organizational structure, there is 1 Chief Inspector, 7 Deputy Chief Inspectors and 9 professional departments; the head office is located at No. 57 Quang Trung (Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat) - the workplace of the Provincial Inspectorate leaders and 4 professional departments; 2 other headquarters in the old Da Lat city and 2 headquarters in the former 2 provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong.
Professional work has been focused on and achieved positive results. In the first 6 months of the year, the entire Lam Dong Inspectorate has carried out 109 administrative inspections, and has issued 81 inspection conclusions to date. Through the inspection, violations were discovered in the payment of construction costs that were not in accordance with actual construction, state budget expenditures that were not in accordance with norms, standards, and regimes, etc. And a decision was issued to recover and pay to the state budget more than 40.5 billion VND; handle other matters of more than 10 billion VND, and transfer 4 violation cases to the police investigation agency. During the period, 3,619 visits were received with over 4,000 citizens; 8,732 complaints and denunciations were received, of which 7,981 were eligible for handling, etc.
In general, the merger, organization of staff and implementation of tasks and work programs of the Provincial Inspectorate after implementing the two-level local government model have received attention from leadership, direction, organization and implementation in accordance with the proposed orientation and project.
Reorganizing the Inspectorate towards being lean, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient is an objective necessity. Creating changes, limiting overlaps and duplications in inspection activities, focusing on key points, improving quality, efficiency and substance; not only to point out and handle violations but also contributing to controlling power, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities.
