At the meeting, Comrade Ngo Kiem - Chief Inspector of the province briefly reported on the operation of the industry after the merger. Accordingly, after receiving, arranging and establishing the new Lam Dong Provincial Inspectorate, the actual number of civil servants is 242 (of which Lam Dong Inspectorate (old) has 87, Binh Thuan Provincial Inspectorate has 91, Dak Nong Provincial Inspectorate has 64).

Regarding the organizational structure, there is 1 Chief Inspector, 7 Deputy Chief Inspectors and 9 professional departments; the head office is located at No. 57 Quang Trung (Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat) - the workplace of the Provincial Inspectorate leaders and 4 professional departments; 2 other headquarters in the old Da Lat city and 2 headquarters in the former 2 provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong.

Professional work has been focused on and achieved positive results. In the first 6 months of the year, the entire Lam Dong Inspectorate has carried out 109 administrative inspections, and has issued 81 inspection conclusions to date. Through the inspection, violations were discovered in the payment of construction costs that were not in accordance with actual construction, state budget expenditures that were not in accordance with norms, standards, and regimes, etc. And a decision was issued to recover and pay to the state budget more than 40.5 billion VND; handle other matters of more than 10 billion VND, and transfer 4 violation cases to the police investigation agency. During the period, 3,619 visits were received with over 4,000 citizens; 8,732 complaints and denunciations were received, of which 7,981 were eligible for handling, etc.

In general, the merger, organization of staff and implementation of tasks and work programs of the Provincial Inspectorate after implementing the two-level local government model have received attention from leadership, direction, organization and implementation in accordance with the proposed orientation and project.

Reorganizing the Inspectorate towards being lean, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient is an objective necessity. Creating changes, limiting overlaps and duplications in inspection activities, focusing on key points, improving quality, efficiency and substance; not only to point out and handle violations but also contributing to controlling power, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities.

Notably, it is necessary to soon stabilize the organization of the inspection agency; effectively implement the work of advising on state management of inspection; review and advise on adjusting the 2025 Inspection Plan of Lam Dong province (new) with focus, key points, and suitability when the 2-level local government comes into operation. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen leadership, direction, organize training, propaganda, dissemination, dissemination, dissemination, and strict implementation of legal regulations on inspection work, especially the Law on Inspection and detailed regulations and implementation instructions; documents and instructions of the Politburo , Government Inspectorate, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee on inspection work, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Trong Yen - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the spirit of solidarity in the work of restructuring the Provincial Inspectorate. At the same time, he also suggested that in building policies and mechanisms, the Provincial Inspectorate should consider and calculate to support civil servants to soon stabilize and feel secure in their work; quickly complete the apparatus, stabilize the organization, and operate smoothly and effectively.

According to comrade Le Trong Yen, Lam Dong province has a large area, many jobs, the largest area in the country, a population of over 3.8 million people, forests and seas, both borders and highlands..., we must strive to overcome and overcome difficulties to complete the task well. He requested that departments and branches related to handling assets and funds need to balance finances to ensure the smooth operation of the apparatus.

Regarding the two-level government, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the inspection sector to review decentralization and delegation of authority; organize training on professional functions related to inspection according to decentralization and delegation of authority. Develop a manual to improve quality and resolve cases from the beginning. At the same time, review the inspection plan in the three regions to issue an inspection plan that does not overlap and does not affect socio-economic development. In particular, focus on digital transformation to store records, resolve work, including dialogue and receive citizens. Monitor and handle harassment cases; post-inspection conclusions, and complicated cases with instructions from the Central Government.
