According to the Physics score distribution analysis report published by the Ministry of Education and Training , this year, the average Physics score of candidates nationwide was 6.99 points, an increase compared to 2024. There were 3,929 candidates scoring 10 points, an increase of nearly 3,874 10 points compared to 2024 (55 candidates). The number of candidates scoring below average was more than 89,665, accounting for more than 18.6%.
Physics is one of the elective subjects that many candidates register for. According to statistics from the Ministryof Education and Training, this subject is registered by about 350,000 candidates, the 4th most popular after History, Geography, and English.
The 2025 high school graduation physics exam has some changes in the exam structure and question format, along with the content and way of asking questions following the trend of linking physics knowledge with real-life contexts, clearly showing the change in assessment thinking in general education.

In terms of the number of exams scoring 10 points, Ho Chi Minh City leads with 634 exams. Hanoi follows with 556 exams scoring 10 points.
