The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution. For Ho Chi Minh City, 127,290 candidates took the Math exam, with an average score of 5.256, ranking 3rd in the country in terms of provinces and cities with the highest average Math scores. There were 43 10s in Math, ranking 3rd in the country in terms of the number of 10s.
There were 126,990 candidates taking the Literature exam. The average score was 7.07, ranking 10th in the country in terms of provinces and cities with the highest average Literature scores.
There were 61,917 candidates taking the English exam. The average score was 5.658, ranking 2nd in the country in terms of average English score. For this subject, Ho Chi Minh City had 29 scores of 10, ranking 2nd in the country in terms of provinces and cities with the most scores of 10.
Physics has 634 scores of 10, ranking number 1 in the country. Chemistry has 58 scores of 10, ranking number 3 in the country in terms of scores of 10.

There were 9,476 candidates taking the Biology exam. The average score was 6.287, ranking 4th in the country in terms of average Biology score. Notably, Ho Chi Minh City had 20 students with 10 points in Biology, ranking 1st in the country.
There were 1,011 candidates taking the IT exam. The average score was 7.257, ranking 8th in the country for the highest average IT score. Ho Chi Minh City had 6 scores of 10, ranking 3rd in the country.
There were 32,335 candidates taking the History exam. The average score was 6.686, ranking 6th in the country. There were 54 history scores of 10, ranking 6th in the country.
Geography had 34,374 candidates taking the exam. The average score was 6.812, ranking 5th in the country. This subject also had 311 10s, ranking 8th in the country in terms of provinces and cities with the most 10s.
There were 20,112 candidates taking the Economics and Law exam. The average score was 7.968, ranking 3rd in the country. In addition, this subject had 166 10s, making Ho Chi Minh City the 2nd in the country in terms of the province with the most 10s in Economics and Law.
Thus, the average graduation scores of subjects in Ho Chi Minh City compared to other provinces and cities are as follows: Math ranked 3rd, Literature ranked 10th, English ranked 2nd, Biology ranked 4th, History ranked 6th, and Information Technology ranked 8th nationwide.
