According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, this year, Nghe An has 36,956 candidates registered to take the exam, with 70 exam locations (with 1,671 exam rooms). This is the locality with the 4th largest number of candidates and exam locations in the country. All exam locations are located at schools with good facilities and convenient transportation.

The whole province has mobilized about 8,000 people to take part in the exam.
