On the morning of August 19, nationwide, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for 250 works and projects were held simultaneously at 80 locations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Saigon Marina IFC initiates the process of building an International Finance Center in Ho Chi Minh City
Saigon Marina International Finance Center (Saigon Marina IFC) is one of 80 key projects inaugurated and started construction to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The inauguration of this project marks the starting point for the construction of the International Finance Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
The project is built on the historic land of Ba Son, strategically connected to Metro Line 1 and key traffic axes. The project promises to become a convergence point of intelligence, financial resources, technology, and at the same time a place where Vietnam is more deeply connected to the global economic flow.
Saigon Marina IFC Tower consists of 55 floors above ground and 5 basements, with a total floor area of over 106,000 m², of which approximately 87,000 m² is for Class A offices; the remaining area is arranged as a commercial center, restaurant, meeting room space and high-end amenities.
This is one of the three tallest towers in Vietnam, designed according to LEED Gold standards with energy-saving and environmentally friendly solutions, in which more than 30% of the area is planned for green space.
According to Resolution 222/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly, the establishment of the International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City is a long-term strategic orientation, aiming to turn the city into a destination for capital flows and regional financial activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized: “This is not only a modern project, but also a mark of the development and growth aspirations of Ho Chi Minh City, as well as of Vietnam.
From a bustling trading port of the last century, on this historic land now rises a new tower, reflecting the spirit of innovation, creativity and integration of the era".
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc affirmed that this will be the headquarters of financial institutions and multinational corporations, and at the same time, the starting point for initiatives, entrepreneurial aspirations and ideas to connect Vietnam more deeply with the global economic flow.
The presence of leaders of many large organizations and leading corporations at home and abroad at today's meaningful event, here, is also the companionship from the very first beats of that aspiring heart.
Saigon Marina IFC will become a symbol of integration, a new heartbeat of Saigon, contributing to bringing Ho Chi Minh City on par with major financial centers in the region and the world.
Today's inauguration event not only adds another landmark project to the City, but also marks an important step forward in the journey to build Ho Chi Minh City into an international financial center - a key driving force of the Vietnamese economy in the new development stage. The project is a testament to the determination of the Party and State, the constant companionship and creativity of businesses, and the support of the people.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc pledged that the Government will continue to accompany businesses, while creating a transparent and open investment environment, creating the most favorable conditions for strategic projects such as Saigon Marina IFC to maximize their value and make practical contributions to the country's development.
