In the two floods that occurred in late September and early October, Cao Bang province had 7 deaths and economic damage of 2,450 billion VND.

In the area of Group 2 Hop Giang, Thuc Phan Ward, the water level along the river was more than 5 meters high, causing the roofs of many level 4 houses to be flooded, and many high-rise buildings had water flooding the first floor up to the second floor. Preliminary statistics show that Thuc Phan Ward has about 5,000 houses flooded and damaged.

Implementing the "4 on-the-spot" motto, local Party committees, authorities and armed forces have mobilized maximum support forces to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
