At the program, journalist Nguyen Hoang Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, said that in the 22-year journey of the "Support to School" program initiated by the newspaper, more than 25,000 new students nationwide with difficult circumstances have been awarded scholarships. This is not only a journey of awarding scholarships, but also a journey of sowing the seeds of aspiration to help poor students have more learning materials and more confidence to rise up in life.
The program has three meanings: scholarship of aspiration, scholarship of belief and scholarship of gratitude. It is the aspiration of poor students who overcome difficulties that creates this program. On the other hand, society and philanthropists always believe in you, hoping that you students will overcome adversity and attend university to acquire knowledge, just like other students.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Vu Thi Hien Hanh emphasized that over the years, in addition to economic development, Lao Cai has always paid attention to human resource training, and the province has allocated many resources to prioritize development in the field of education and training. As a mountainous province with a large population of ethnic minorities and frequent natural disasters and storms, many families and students in difficult circumstances need funding to go to school.
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee would like to sincerely thank Tuoi Tre Newspaper and its sponsors and partners for choosing Lao Cai Province to award scholarships to new students from 8 northern mountainous provinces. Today's scholarships are not only material but also spiritual gifts, helping new students overcome current difficulties, make continuous efforts, and be determined to conquer the pinnacle of knowledge for a better life. From there, they will continue to contribute their efforts and intelligence to build their homeland and country to become more and more prosperous and developed.

With the message “One aspiration - Ten thousand hearts”, the Organizing Committee awarded 105 scholarships to new students from 8 provinces with a value of more than 1.6 billion VND (not including travel, food, accommodation and gifts from the program), each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash; including 2 special scholarships worth 50 million VND/for the entire 4 years of university.
In addition, the program also gave 6 laptops to 6 new students with difficult circumstances to excel in their studies.
