Deputy head of Hue suspected of being drunk, undressing, causing offense at tourist spot

On June 2, the leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province said that the unit had received information about the incident in which the General Secretary - Deputy Head of the Movement Committee, had committed an offensive act on the street.

The unit has asked Mr. T. to write a self-criticism and report on the incident. The unit will then hold a meeting to take disciplinary action against this officer in accordance with regulations.

Accordingly, in recent days, people in Hue City (Thua Thien - Hue province) shared on social networks images of a man showing signs of being drunk and acting inappropriately at a tourist destination.

Through investigation, the above incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on May 31, at the Toa Kham tourist boat dock (Le Loi Street, Phu Hoi Ward, Hue City).

At that time, this guest showed signs of using alcohol and beer and could not control himself, so the boat owner and local people helped him get from the dragon boat on the Huong River to the shore to rest at the house of the boat station management board.

However, after that, this man took off his shirt and pants, continuously vomited and shouted, cursed with foul language, and made a mess of the entire marina area.

The man’s every action was witnessed by locals, tourists, and Hue singing artists. Many people quickly took out their phones to record the images.

The dock staff and local people tried to persuade him but failed, so they tried to contact his relatives to take him home.

Through verification, the man with the above offensive behavior is the General Secretary.
