( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of June 11, in Hanoi, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense organized the Emulation Congress for the period 2019 - 2024. Colonel Pham Van Hung, Deputy Chief of Political Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army attended and directed the congress.

The report and speeches at the congress affirmed that in the period of 2019 - 2024, with the leadership, direction, regular and effective support of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Head and functional agencies of the General Staff, the Party committees, commanders at all levels and officers, employees and soldiers of the Office of the Ministry of National Defense have led, directed and implemented the Emulation movement to win with many outstanding achievements, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong agency that is "exemplary and typical", worthy of being an important, confidential, comprehensive advisory agency, effectively serving the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Head of the Ministry of National Defense in performing military and defense tasks and building the Army Party organization.

Over the past five years, many new policies and guidelines on military, national defense, and Army building have been implemented. Accordingly, the Office's tasks have been supplemented and developed, especially in the fields of consulting, synthesizing, administrative reform, building e -Government , and digital transformation. In light of that reality, the Office has always attached importance to, tightly and effectively organized the Emulation Movement to Win, done a good job of commendation, and created motivation for cadres, employees, and soldiers to overcome difficulties and strive to successfully complete all tasks.
The Emulation Movement for Victory has directly contributed to building a strong Office in terms of politics, ideology, organization, ethics and staff; it is a direct source of motivation for cadres, employees and soldiers to promote the tradition of "Absolute loyalty, solidarity, unity, dedication, creativity, upholding principles", overcoming all difficulties and challenges, striving to successfully complete the emulation goals and targets. Thereby, it has promoted the proactive and creative spirit of all levels and forces, focusing on successfully completing the assigned political tasks.

With the achievements in the Emulation movement for Victory in the period of 2019 - 2024, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense was honored to receive 02 Second-class Fatherland Protection Medals from the Party and State, 03 Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 01 Certificate of Merit from the Office of the President, 03 Emulation Flags from the Ministry of National Defense, 02 Emulation Flags from the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army. Many collectives and individuals were awarded by all levels and sectors.

In particular, focus on promoting emulation to well implement breakthroughs: Improve the quality of research, consulting, synthesis and professional work, and service; improve the quality of building a disciplined, disciplined and military administrative reform agency, especially in terms of work handling and resolution procedures, administrative reform, and digital transformation; improve the qualifications, capacity, methods, working style, experience, and professional skills of the staff and party members, especially the roles and responsibilities of the staff in charge.
