Phu Luong: Industrial and handicraft production value reached over 984 billion VND

Forestry processing facilities are creating jobs for thousands of workers in Phu Luong district.

The district has planned 5 industrial clusters for the 2021-2030 period with a total area of ​​nearly 195 hectares, attracting investment in wood processing, agricultural products, supporting industries, textiles, etc.

Over nearly 5 years, the district's industrial and handicraft production has achieved an average growth rate of 10.6% per year. The production value from the beginning of the year to date has reached over 984 billion VND, an increase of nearly 100 billion VND compared to 2024 and an increase of 389.6 billion VND compared to 2020. The local industrial production value alone is estimated at 788 billion VND, an increase of 312.7 billion VND compared to 2020, 2.34% higher than the target of the Project.

Up to now, on average, each commune and town in Phu Luong district has over 70 handicraft production establishments, attracting thousands of local workers to work in production fields such as: wood processing, mineral exploitation; tea production and processing; construction materials, aluminum and glass, mechanics, garments, etc.
