Xuan Nha Commune is one of the particularly difficult areas, where crime, especially drug-related activities, operate at a complex and dangerous level. Overcoming difficulties, the police force always maintains a spirit of steel, stays in the area day and night, eats, lives and works with the ethnic people to propagate the law, protect security and order and gradually build a more civilized and safer life for the people.

Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her emotions and shared that when she witnessed the rugged terrain and difficulties in this highland area, she admired even more the dedication, absolute loyalty and spirit of "serving the people" of the green-shirted soldiers on the front line of the Fatherland's border.

The Lady emphasized that the police force is not only people who carry guns to protect national security, but they are also people who know how to love, know how to share, have artistic souls and hearts full of passion for their compatriots.

Visiting representatives of families of martyrs and wounded soldiers of the Police in the province, the Lady personally presented gifts, asked about them and expressed deep gratitude to the families of martyrs Luong Phat Chiem, martyr Bui Cong Nguyen and the wounded soldiers.

Martyr Luong Phat Chiem heroically sacrificed himself on July 19, 2014 while performing his duty of fighting crime. Martyr Bui Cong Nguyen fell on January 28, 2015 while pursuing illegal drug traffickers. His sacrifice is a living testament to the indomitable and courageous spirit of the People's Public Security force.

The Ministry of Public Security and local authorities have paid attention and provided maximum support to the martyrs’ relatives. In particular, the two martyrs’ wives have been recruited into the police force.

Also during the trip, the General Secretary’s wife visited the family of Major Ca Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of Van Ho Commune Police. As a brave soldier with many achievements in the fight against drug crimes, he is a typical example in the police force. However, the family’s living conditions are still lacking.

The lady listened to the sincere sharing about the life, work and concerns of the police officers in the highlands. She was interested in every detail, from daily activities, the education of her two daughters to social housing support policies...

At the end of the working trip, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her deep gratitude to the martyrs and wounded police officers - those who sacrificed their youth and blood for the peace of the Fatherland. She also did not forget to express her gratitude to the mothers, wives and children of these soldiers - those who quietly provided a solid rear base so that the frontline could fight with peace of mind.

The Lady hopes that authorities at all levels will continue to do a good job of "repaying gratitude" and paying more attention to the material and spiritual lives of policy families.

“Let’s turn gratitude into practical actions: Support jobs, provide medical care, and ensure education for children of martyrs and wounded soldiers’ families. Don’t leave anyone behind,” the First Lady said.
