The training course had the participation of the provincial legal reporter to convey the topic. The training content focused on the following issues: Fostering practical mediation skills (including: skills in receiving and analyzing cases; communication, listening and persuasion skills; skills in handling difficult situations and complex conflicts); Updating and disseminating new legal regulations related to mediation activities at the grassroots level, especially laws, decrees and circulars issued, amended and supplemented recently; Responsibilities of the People's Committees at the commune level, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and related organizations and individuals in mediation work at the grassroots level; State management of mediation at the grassroots level; Guidance on building a model of "Typical commune level mediation at the grassroots level".
The training session took place enthusiastically with many practical exchanges, solving difficulties and problems in the process of implementing mediation at the grassroots level. Thereby, helping the team of mediators improve their capacity, promote their role as a bridge in resolving conflicts and disputes right at the grassroots level, contributing to maintaining community solidarity and social order.
Cam Pha is the first locality to organize a training course on grassroots mediation after operating the two-level local government model in the province.
