Ha An Ward: Launching inspection and rectification of aquaculture activities at sea

On August 16, Ha An Ward organized an inspection of aquaculture at sea. This is an important activity to grasp the production situation, promptly correct existing problems, strictly handle violations, and at the same time orient the development of aquaculture towards sustainability, associated with ensuring waterway traffic safety and preserving the ecological environment.

During the inspection, 2 working groups of the Ward People's Committee reviewed the current situation, met, discussed, propagated, and reminded households to strictly comply with aquaculture in the planning area; install standard floating materials in production, do not arbitrarily release, build rigs, cages, and rafts in violation of regulations, directly affecting the safety corridor of waterway routes. At the same time, households in violation were required to proactively move cages and rafts to the correct area assigned for aquaculture, not to create more illegal farming sites.

The working group met to discuss, propagate and remind households to strictly comply with the planning of aquaculture.

Directly directing the inspection at the scene, comrade Le Manh Tuyen, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, said: Ha An Ward is determined to strictly handle violations, not allowing spontaneous aquaculture and encroachment on inland waterway safety corridors. In addition to inspection work, the local government will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to raise awareness, properly implement planning, link marine economic development with ecological environment protection and ensure waterway traffic safety. This is the common responsibility of each farming household and also an important task to build Ha An to develop sustainably, safely and civilly" .

Ha An Ward will resolutely handle violations and not allow spontaneous fishing and encroachment on inland waterway safety corridors.

The inspection clearly demonstrated the determination of the Ha An ward government in maintaining order at sea, ensuring waterway traffic safety, and at the same time creating a foundation for building a green - clean - beautiful sea space, serving economic development and improving people's lives.
