Hai Chau Ward reviews preparations for the new school year 2025-2026

DNO - On August 14, the Standing Committee of Hai Chau Ward Party Committee worked with agencies, units, and schools on preparations for the new school year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, enrollment in the ward is being carried out as planned. The ward has 39 kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools with a total of 23,012 students. Of which, there are 21 preschools, 11 public kindergartens, and 10 non-public schools with 4,911 children; there are 12 public primary schools with 300 classes, 9,782 students, an average of 32.6 students/class; there are 6 public secondary schools with 199 classes, 8,319 students, an average of 41.8 students/class.

In addition, there are 10 non-public kindergartens, 15 private independent kindergarten groups, and 2 non-public inter-level schools.

Regarding facilities, many schools are funded to build, repair, and purchase teaching equipment in the direction of modernization, serving the 2018 General Education program.

The team of managers, teachers and staff is sufficient for the new school year, with a total of 1,245 people, including 329 people at preschool level, 519 at primary level, and 397 at secondary level. The schools participated in training on textbooks and professional skills organized by the Ministry and the Department of Education and Training (DET), improving their capacity to meet the new education program.

The Standing Committee of Hai Chau Ward Party Committee directed agencies, units, and schools to inspect, grasp the situation, urge to speed up the construction and repair progress of school facilities; check hygiene, lighting systems, fans, air conditioners, department rooms, libraries; review facilities and teaching staff to supplement in time.

In addition, schools are required to collect fees at the beginning of the school year according to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training, not to allow incorrect collection in any form in educational institutions in the area, and to complete the announcement of the list of textbooks for each grade level for the 2025-2026 school year for parents to choose from...
