Recently , storm No. 10 with strong winds and prolonged heavy rains caused serious floods and landslides, greatly affecting the lives and production of people in many provinces and cities across the country.
In Ninh Binh province, many localities were affected by the storm with hundreds of houses having their roofs blown off or damaged; crops and plants flooded; many traffic routes and public works severely damaged ... making life extremely difficult for many people.
Faced with such losses and damages, promoting the tradition of solidarity and " mutual love" of the nation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Hoa Lu ward organized a campaign for cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, and people receiving salaries from the State budget in the area to each donate at least one day's salary, contributing to easing the difficulties that people in areas directly affected by storm No. 10 are suffering.
Right at the launching ceremony, Tay Hoa Lu ward raised more than 88 million VND to send to people in areas affected by natural disasters.
After the launching ceremony, the ward continued to call on individuals, agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists to participate in supporting to help people soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
