According to L'Equipe , PSG are expected to earn six times more revenue than expected, thanks to Ligue 1 broadcasting rights and their appearance in the UEFA Champions League final.
Specifically, the French champions are estimated to receive around 22 million euros from Ligue 1 broadcasting rights. This figure does not include bonuses from the tournament organizers after winning the championship. Meanwhile, the amount of money Luis Enrique and his team earned from the Champions League has reached more than 138 million euros, thanks to their participation in the final match of the tournament.
Reaching the final against Inter Milan will earn PSG an additional €18.5m. The French side will also receive €34m from UEFA broadcasting and advertising rights, along with €11m for their UEFA coefficient ranking over the past 10 years.
If they beat Inter Milan in the final, PSG will receive an additional €6.5m. They will also receive an additional €4m for participating in the European Super Cup in August, against Europa League winners Tottenham.
L'Equipe also revealed that French teams earned a large amount of money thanks to their participation in the Champions League this season. Specifically, Lille is expected to receive about 78 million euros, AS Monaco will pocket about 60 million euros, while Brest will receive about 52 million euros.
On May 10, President Al-Khelaifi decided to give a big bonus by giving 600 club employees a pair of tickets to watch the Champions League final, and also covering all travel expenses in Munich, where the match took place.
