The whole country is bustling to prepare for the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 (A80) with many commemorative activities and creative ways to pay tribute to history. Among them, the trend of decorating the national flag, putting the country's image into decorations, menus... is becoming a "trend" that many cafes and restaurants in Hanoi are responding to.
In that atmosphere, a coffee shop on O Dong Lam Street (Dong Da Ward, Hanoi) has just launched a collection of drinks called "Independence Day", associated with four historical milestones of the nation.

The menu names each drink after four historical milestones of the Country as a reminder and tribute to previous generations: 1077, 1428, 1945 and 2025.
1077 is the name of the red star fruit tea. This is the year Ly Thuong Kiet affirmed sovereignty through the declaration of independence "Nam quoc son ha".
The year 1428 was named for the dish "Panda Coconut Milk", recalling the victory of Le Loi, ending the Ming Dynasty's domination.
The roasted rice filter drink was named after 1945, the year President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
The year 2025 is the name of the Phin durian dish, symbolizing the desire to continue and develop in the future in the "Era of Growth".
Ha Vy, a young tourist who came to the restaurant before National Day, shared: “I found the restaurant decorated with the theme of the Fatherland quite intimate, creating a clear feeling of the National Day atmosphere. I ordered the dish 1945 - fried rice filter. My friend tried the dish 2025 - durian filter and commented that the taste was fragrant and quite special.”

These numbers convey a message of chivalry throughout the nation's history, reminding the younger generation of an unforgettable glorious past.
“Customers are very impressed with the 2025 - durian filter because of its novelty and rich flavor. 2025 uses pure durian jam to make the drink fragrant and fatty right from the first time enjoying it,” said Mr. Nguyen Huynh - the owner of the coffee shop.

This is also a favorite place for young people because the street coffee experience creates a comfortable feeling and a different flavor. The image of bamboo trees, which is associated with the countryside, now appears in the heart of the city, becoming a unique drink.
According to Mr. Huynh, bamboo shoots from the Truong Son and Tay Nguyen regions become fresh green cups. In addition, the shop's straws are also made of bamboo, and the cup handles are woven from palm leaves in Vinh Long.
"A product that when held in hand, customers want to take a photo to check in immediately," said the shop representative.

The restaurant regularly changes the menu theme related to history, culture, tradition... "These themes will focus on folk tales, historical stories, and traditional culture of Vietnam. These stories will be combined with many different materials and styles to bring newness in the way of conveying the message", Mr. Huynh shared more.
Previously, bamboo tube coffee also caused a stir in Ho Chi Minh City when it was launched on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. Customers lined up to buy three special versions of cups with three messages: 50 years of the Liberation of the South; Hoang Sa and Truong Sa belong to Vietnam and Vietnam - The era of rising up.
