The Border Guard Command directed the Border Guard Commands of coastal provinces and cities from Quang Ninh to Lam Dong to coordinate with local authorities, using all measures to inform about the storm's developments, continue to check, count, and guide ships, boats, and vehicles operating at sea or anchored to find safe shelter.
The Navy Command and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command directed their agencies and units to deploy safety measures; prepare search and rescue forces and equipment in case of emergency. The Air Defense - Air Force Service and the 18th Army Corps are ready to conduct search and rescue flights and transport essential supplies to flooded and isolated areas when ordered.
The Military Industry-Telecoms Group and the Information and Communications Corps direct units to ensure uninterrupted communication and other necessary conditions to serve the Government, the Prime Minister, and leaders of the Ministry of National Defense in directing and operating search and rescue work; be ready to send forces and vehicles to survey vulnerable areas to promptly detect cracks, areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and areas that are cut off and isolated in order to provide early warning and take preventive measures. During the day, Army units mobilized 748 officers and soldiers of the regular army, militia and self-defense forces, and vehicles of all kinds to help people overcome the consequences in the provinces of Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh; supported the repair and cleaning of 78 houses, 8km of roads, and sprayed disinfectant on 145 hectares of flooded areas.
