Brigade 175 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the founding of Naval Region 5

From October 15 to 20, in Nam Can commune (Ca Mau province), Brigade 175 (Naval Region 5 Command) coordinated with the Defense Command of Region 3 - Dat Moi (Military Command of Ca Mau province), Nam Can Port Border Guard Station, Nam Can Commune Youth Union, Phan Ngoc Hien High School, Hang Vinh Secondary School to organize a contest to learn about the tradition of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Naval Region 5 and a volleyball tournament.

Participating in the contest are 3 teams: Canh Song (agency block), Ngon Song Bac (Flotilla block 515), Vung Tin (Flotilla block 516); competing in 3 contents: Greeting contest, introducing the team in the form of dramatization; answering knowledge questions revolving around the 50-year history of the establishment of Naval Region 5 and eloquence contest.

The volleyball tournament took place from October 17 to 20, with the participation of more than 80 athletes from 8 teams from agencies and units.

This is an opportunity to propagate and educate the tradition for officers and soldiers of the Brigade to review the 50-year journey of building, fighting and growing of Naval Region 5; arouse pride, solidarity, and determination to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
