Bringing Can Tho specialties to participate in the fruit fair in Bac Ninh province in 2025

(CTO) - On the morning of December 4, at Can Tho International Airport, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City coordinated with Can Tho International Airport to organize a media event to bring Can Tho City's specialty products to participate in the Fruit Fair in Bac Ninh province in 2025 (from December 5 to 7).

Leaders of the city's Industry and Trade Department, representatives of Can Tho International Airport and businesses participating in the event took souvenir photos.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ha Vu Son, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City, emphasized that the fair is not only a golden opportunity to promote, affirm and elevate the brand of "Can Tho Specialties" on the national map, but also a driving force to comprehensively promote the city's trade and tourism promotion activities. Hopefully, after the event, the city's businesses will be able to connect with partners not only in Bac Ninh province but also expand to the northern market and export abroad.

“The Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City will continue to promote sales channels through connecting with focal points in provinces and cities across the country and Vietnam Trade Office channels abroad. It is expected that in December 2025, in Da Nang City, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City will coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City to organize a trade connection conference. The program aims to increase support for businesses of the two localities in promoting, introducing products, researching and developing markets. This is also an opportunity to meet and promote business cooperation; gradually introduce products and display them at supermarkets, stores, markets, etc. at the two major focal points for goods consumption in the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta region,” Mr. Ha Vu Son added at the event.

Accompanying Can Tho City to participate in the event were Quang Dang Private Enterprise for Production and Trade (a store selling local specialties and OCOP products of the Mekong Delta provinces and cities) introducing local specialties and OCOP products of Can Tho City; Western Clean Food Safety Company Limited with rice products (ST25, Mong Chim clean rice, KG102 clean rice and shrimp); Hoang Minh Nhat Joint Stock Company and Xa No Rice Cooperative Union with rice products; Ky Nhu Cooperative with snakehead fish, dried striped snakehead fish, soursop tea, etc.

On this occasion, Vietjet Air supports Can Tho City by reducing 50% of ticket prices (100% free baggage) for delegates and businesses and free shipping for 500kg of goods attending the fair.
