Thoroughly understand the purpose and require live ammunition.

Speaking to thoroughly grasp the tasks before entering the live ammunition firing practice test, Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam, Division Commander of Division 5, required officers and soldiers to absolutely comply with the rules to ensure safety in live ammunition firing; firmly grasp the preparation steps, posture, movements, and style; at the same time, maintain a steady mentality, calmness, and confidence to perform well the key movements, especially the movements of pulling the trigger, changing the target, and handling situations in shooting practice in accordance with regulations and safety.

Thanks to the scientific and strict organization and high determination of the whole unit, officers and soldiers are calm, confident, and apply techniques and tactics well to the specific conditions of the shooting exercises, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons. The shooting exercises are carried out according to the correct procedures, ensuring accuracy in every step from preparing the shooting range, arranging forces to checking and controlling safety. The test results show that all units are quite good, with a high rate of good and excellent.

The live-fire exercise not only assesses the ability to complete the 2025 training target but also contributes significantly to consolidating combat skills and improving the level of infantry weapon use of the troops. This is an important basis for the Division to continue adjusting the content and methods to improve training and the level of weapon use of the troops in the 2026 training year.
