In 2025, the Military Medical Department thoroughly grasped the leadership resolutions of all levels on logistics and technical work; focused on leading, directing, and implementing the work synchronously and comprehensively. Accordingly, the Military Medical Department regularly grasped the situation; proactively and promptly advised on combat readiness and emergency tasks; overcame the consequences of natural disasters, floods and storms. At the same time, directed, guided, and synchronously implemented epidemic prevention and control work, focusing on meningococcal disease and dengue fever; the entire army had no major epidemics or outbreaks.

At the same time, the Military Medical Department has performed well the work of managing, caring for and protecting the health of soldiers. Directing medical examination and treatment facilities to fully implement professional standards and regimes; deploying techniques according to decentralization; developing many new techniques. The work of creating sources, purchasing drugs, chemicals, equipment, and medical supplies is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the State and the Ministry of National Defense ; ensuring adequate and timely reserves for combat readiness, regularly and suddenly.

To successfully complete the 2026 mission, Major General Huynh Tan Hung requested the Party Committee and the commander of the Military Medical Department to focus on leading and directing the implementation of 5 key groups of tasks, closely linked to the dissemination and concretization of resolutions of the Party, State and Military Commission, specifically: Continuing to improve strategic advisory work, effectively implementing Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the protection and improvement of people's health and the National Strategy for protecting and caring for people's health until 2030.

In addition, strengthen the direction of digital transformation and application of science and technology to the Military Medicine sector. Strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party Committee of the Military Medicine Department, successfully organize the 80th anniversary of its tradition.
