Faced with the emergency, the Border Guard force of Quang Ngai province organized emergency aid and medical support. Among the medical team mobilized to respond, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Thi Tu, in charge of the Military Medical Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command, directly examined and assessed the patient's condition, promptly provided first aid and participated in transporting Mr. Nghe to Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital for treatment.

During her years of service, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Thi Tu has always been ready to go when there is an emergency. She has directly participated in search and rescue operations, providing medical care for more than 20 crew members and fishermen who were injured or in distress at sea, contributing to protecting the lives and health of fishermen on the front line of the Fatherland. At the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command, in her assigned position, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Thi Tu has always upheld her sense of responsibility and dedication in taking care of and ensuring the health of officers and soldiers. She strictly implements regulations and guidelines on medical standards and regimes for soldiers; advises the unit commander to organize the management and monitoring of soldiers' health scientifically and effectively.

The footprints of the female military doctor in green uniform have been imprinted throughout the coastal and mountainous villages of Quang Ngai province. For many years, the Provincial Border Guard Medical Department under her responsibility has maintained regular medical examination and treatment activities for officers, soldiers and people in coastal and island border areas; organized medical examination and health care at home for policy families, lonely elderly people, and people in difficult circumstances. Those simple but meaningful actions have left a beautiful image of a female military doctor who is devoted to the people and her comrades.

Not only dedicated to her profession, in her position as Vice President of the Women's Union of the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command, she and the Executive Committee of the Union proactively advised and organized many practical and meaningful activities such as: Propaganda on preventing and combating school violence, protecting and caring for children, preventing and combating domestic violence; promoting gender equality, building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized military families. Every year, the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union also coordinates with units and localities to award hundreds of scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, and thousands of gifts to support women in border areas. Many programs have become beautiful marks, recognized and respected by local officers, soldiers and people. In addition, she is also an active nucleus in movements launched by the Women's Union such as: "Piggy Bank of Love" model, "Revolving Capital Contribution", "Godmother" program, "Full Moon Festival Night" for poor children. These activities not only contribute to sharing difficulties and spreading love, but also strengthen solidarity and unity among the female border guards.

Having spent nearly 30 years in the army uniform, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Thi Tu always reminds herself to continue to train, make more efforts in her work, and be dedicated to her profession. For her, taking care of the health of officers, soldiers and people in the border areas is a happiness and a sacred responsibility of a female military doctor in peacetime.
