During the period 2019-2024, the HSTC Faculty was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the renovation period (2024) by the Party and State - the second heroic title, the First Class Labor Medal (2022), the Faculty was awarded the title of Determined to Win Unit 5 times.

In addition to successfully completing the task of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, in recent years, the Department of Emergency Medicine has successfully completed the task of providing emergency care, admitting and treating seriously ill and critical patients transferred from inside and outside the Hospital. The Department has successfully deployed many new and specialized techniques in the field of Emergency Medicine and Anti-poisoning, creating a breakthrough in expertise, contributing to the successful treatment of many critically ill patients, creating the position and prestige of the Department, the Hospital and the Army.

The Department of Resuscitation has actively participated in resuscitation training for level 2 field hospitals managed by Military Hospital 175 in coordination with the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department, training according to the content and procedures of the United Nations and the Ministry of National Defense.

A prominent mark of the HSTC Department is advising and organizing military medical support for the Truong Sa special zone and the southern sea and island areas; advising, proposing, selecting, establishing, managing, maintaining, and training an Air Rescue Team with 10-15 doctors and nurses with good professional qualifications, on par with international standards, strong political will, ready to participate in rescue at sea and on islands in all conditions when ordered.

The Department contributes to the Hospital in developing an air ambulance model according to international standards suitable for Vietnam's conditions, and coordinates with domestic and foreign agencies to organize the first training courses specializing in emergency and air transport.

Currently, the only unit in Vietnam that can deploy this specialized training. Over the past 5 years, the Department has proactively coordinated well and promptly with other units to organize emergency and transport dozens of flights (mainly at night) to bring patients from coastal and island areas to the mainland safely, keeping the golden time for treatment. Thanks to that, nearly 100% of patients have been saved and returned to normal life.

In the coming time, according to Colonel, Doctor CKII Vu Dinh An, Head of the Department of Intensive Care and Poison Control: The Department aims to become a modern, specialized intensive care and anti-poison unit, typical of the Vietnam Military Medical sector, on par with the region and reaching international standards.

To realize the goal, Colonel Vu Dinh An shared the secret: In the period of 2025-2030, the entire unit will focus on implementing "3 breakthroughs", including proactively building smart medical examination and treatment processes, deploying at least 4 new techniques, applying high technology to treatment and applying information technology, digital transformation to complete the electronic medical record system, in line with the general trend of Military Hospital 175./.
