Equip knowledge on gender equality and skills to implement gender mainstreaming

During 2 days, November 9 and 10, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union organized 2 training courses to equip knowledge on gender equality and skills in implementing gender mainstreaming for cadres in the commune-level political system in 2025.

The training course was attended by nearly 150 delegates from localities implementing Project 8 on "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children", under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

At the training course, delegates were equipped with knowledge on gender equality and related legal regulations; skills in integrating gender in the development and implementation of policies, plans and programs at the local level; and shared experiences and good models in propaganda and community mobilization work to implement gender equality.

The training aims to improve knowledge and skills on gender equality and gender mainstreaming for officials in the grassroots political system. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness, promoting gender equality, eliminating gender stereotypes, building happy families... towards the goal of effectively implementing gender equality and solving urgent problems for women and children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
