In the process of building new rural areas and developing the local economy, small capital but with great influence is contributing to changing the face of many rural areas. In Van Xuan ward, Yen Minh People's Credit Fund is not only a grassroots financial organization, but also a solid support for thousands of households.

Mr. Nguyen Van San, Thai Cao residential group, borrowed capital from Yen Minh People's Credit Fund to expand production and business of furniture and forestry products.

Officially put into operation in October 2008, with an initial charter capital of only 300 million VND and 8 founding members, Yen Minh People's Credit Fund went through difficult early days.

However, with perseverance, dedication and the right strategy, the Fund has gradually built trust and prestige with members and the community. Up to now, the total operating capital of the Fund has reached more than 220 billion VND, with nearly 2,500 members, becoming one of the largest grassroots credit funds in Thai Nguyen province.

In the hundreds of square meter San Lien wood workshop in Thai Cao residential group, Mr. Nguyen Van San, owner of the wood workshop, shared: I find the Fund's interest rate reasonable, procedures quick and simple, staff enthusiastic, and thoughtful support. I have borrowed here for many years, and I find the Fund's staff very responsible in their work. That's why I trust and continue to work with them.

Mr. Nguyen Van San’s workshop currently specializes in manufacturing furniture and wooden beds for export to Taiwan, creating regular jobs for more than 10 local workers. Each year, revenue reaches billions of VND.

Not far away, in Trung Quan residential group, Mr. Dao Van Dien's ornamental garden is lush green. Looking at the garden worth hundreds of millions of dong, few people would think that less than 10 years ago, this place was just an empty land with a few dozen small ornamental trees.

“Previously, I only had a few dozen trees. But thanks to a loan from Yen Minh Credit Fund, I was able to expand production, buy more seedlings, and hire workers to take care of them. Now the garden has several hundred trees, with a value many times higher than before. I am preparing to establish a cooperative to connect with people in the same profession, both to rotate capital and expand the market,” said Mr. Dao Van Dien.

By the end of September 2025, Yen Minh People's Credit Fund had a total operating capital of more than 220 billion VND, of which mobilized capital reached nearly 198 billion VND. The Fund's lending turnover from the beginning of the year to date has reached more than 140 billion VND, with over 700 members borrowing capital, outstanding loans currently reaching 158.6 billion VND... these numbers show the growing trust of people in this cooperative credit model.

Not only financially stable, Yen Minh People's Credit Fund is also a pioneer in applying information technology to business operations. Since 2014, the Fund has deployed interbank electronic money transfer services, serving hundreds of customers each year. In 2021, the unit continues to upgrade management software, deploy cashless payments and free money transfers nationwide, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the grassroots financial sector.

Operating for the community, not for profit, but always ensuring efficiency and capital safety. In addition, the Fund also actively participates in social security activities, supports schools, and visits policy families on holidays and Tet.
