Song Kon Commune trains more than 100 village officials on gender equality

DNO - On November 4, the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang city coordinated with the People's Committee of Song Kon commune to organize a training conference to disseminate gender equality work in 2025 for more than 100 delegates who are village heads, front officials and mass organizations in the commune.

At the conference, participants were informed about many contents related to gender equality and prevention of gender-based violence. The focus was on legal regulations on gender equality; prevention and response to gender-based violence, identification of forms of domestic violence and preventive measures.

Conference to disseminate and propagate early marriage, incestuous marriage and its consequences on life, health and community development.

In addition to the theoretical part, the training content also discusses and handles real-life situations, aiming to help grassroots officials and people easily identify and apply intervention measures to support victims in cases related to domestic violence and gender inequality.

Through the training session, we aim to raise awareness and propaganda skills, contributing to promoting gender equality in the locality, building progressive, civilized and happy families.
