During the recent storms, Mang Ri commune suffered heavy damage, with many houses destroyed; in particular, Chung Tam village experienced landslides, threatening the lives of residents.

Identifying stable housing for residents is an urgent task. In recent times, the commune government has helped people temporarily repair damaged houses; at the same time, it has surveyed and assessed unsafe houses to include them in the repair or relocation plan.

For relocated households and those whose houses collapsed, the authorities provided 60 million VND per household and mobilized forces to provide direct assistance; households repairing damaged roofs received 2-10 million VND per household depending on the extent of the damage.

Over the past few days, local authorities have been leveling the ground to provide residents with space to build houses.
