Nguyen Hong Hai Ba, Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 11 (Mo Lao Ward), said that immediately after the ward established the Steering Committee for collecting public opinions, the Party Cell held a meeting and organized the assignment of tasks to each member. In a very urgent spirit, taking advantage of every moment, the groups collecting public opinions began to implement from the early afternoon of April 19.
According to population data, the residential group must collect opinions from more than 500 household voter representatives. The plan of the Party cell is to have the summary data by 7:30 pm today to send to the Ward People's Committee.
As the person who directly went to each household to ask for opinions, Head of Residential Group 11, Mo Lao Ward, Tran Trung Sy, shared that the residential group has 7 areas, divided into 7 groups to ask for opinions. Because there was not much time to carry out the work, all members were aware of their tasks and responsibilities, each person had a job, some went directly to the households, some stayed in the hall to compile data.
To complete the task, the members worked all afternoon, all evening, even the night of April 19, only when the households closed their doors did the members leave. This morning, the teams started working again at 6:30 a.m. to take advantage of the time when people were still at home.
Following the Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 6, Tan Trieu Commune (Thanh Tri District) Tran Van Quang, a reporter from Hanoi Moi Newspaper directly witnessed the hard work of the members of the group asking for people's opinions.
As the area has 2 residential groups No. 5, 6 and part of residential group No. 2 (Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district) merged into the Ha Dong administrative unit (currently belonging to Ha Dong district), the members of the group had to explain very carefully to the households about the new administrative boundaries and the name of the new administrative unit.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc (room 12B14 CT2 Apartment 103, Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district) when asked for his opinion expressed his agreement and support for both the name of the new administrative unit and the merger of the residential area where he lives into the new administrative unit named Ha Dong.
"In my opinion, this adjustment is reasonable because it creates convenience for people in their daily lives and in all aspects of state management," said Mr. Duc.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (room 1413, apartment building 103) also excitedly commented: "The transfer of the administrative boundary to Ha Dong has created favorable conditions for students living in this apartment building. This is something that people are very happy about, agree with, and highly support."
According to Tran Van Quang, Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 6, Tan Trieu Commune (Thanh Tri District), the number of ballots collected by the groups was 796, and by 9:00 a.m. on April 20, the groups had collected about 600 ballots. Although the work was hard, going to each house, explaining in detail..., the members always upheld their sense of responsibility so that the common work could be completed on schedule assigned by the superiors.

As the commune-level administrative unit expected to have the largest natural area and population in Ha Dong district after the arrangement (13.38km2, 91,453 people), the groups collecting public opinions in Yen Nghia ward also urgently started working early.
Chairman of Yen Nghia Ward People's Committee Nguyen Ba Tien said that many groups asking for opinions were carried out on the evening of April 19, the work progress was reported by the groups according to the time frames: 9:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 21:00. At 10:00 tomorrow (April 21), the data will be finalized. Members of the group asking for opinions of the people explained very clearly to the representatives of the households about the policies of the Party and the State and the households received the information with a spirit of high agreement and consensus.
