Hanoi Market Management seizes 15,000 suspected smuggled skin care masks

On July 24, information from the Hanoi Market Management Department said that Market Management Team No. 5 coordinated with Vinh Hung Ward Police to inspect a cosmetics business at 419 Vinh Hung Street and discovered a large quantity of skin care masks without invoices proving their origin.

At the time of inspection, the owner could not present a certificate of registration for establishing a business household at address 419 Vinh Hung Street, Vinh Hung Ward.

In addition, the authorities discovered that the facility was selling 15,000 Lucenbase Whitening Moisturizing Masks, 25ml/product, with the listed price at the facility being 12,000 VND/product, which are foreign-made goods.

The owner of the goods could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the imported goods circulating on the market. The total value of the infringing goods according to the listed price at the facility was 180 million VND.

Market Management Team No. 5 is continuing to coordinate with Vinh Hung Ward Police to complete the dossier and handle it according to regulations.
