Ngo Quyen District organizes the March Fragrance Program with many exciting and attractive activities

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On March 9, the Labor Federation and the Women's Union of Ngo Quyen district jointly organized the program "Fragrance and color of March" with many attractive activities attracting a large number of union members and women's union members.
The program was held on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, the 1984 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the 12th anniversary of International Day of Happiness on March 20.
The highlight of the program is the Ao Dai parade with the theme "Spring in the streets" and the Ao Dai singing and dancing competition with the theme "Beautiful Vietnam" with the participation of nearly 400 union members and women's association members from 21 agencies and units representing tens of thousands of women in Ngo Quyen district.
The image of the graceful, charming ao dai imbued with traditional culture has become a symbol of Vietnamese women. And every Vietnamese woman wants to preserve, promote and spread that beauty.
In addition, the Program also has many activities to care for union members; cultural and sports activities and fairs displaying regional specialties.
A day for the Fragrance of March left many good impressions in the hearts of each union member and district women's association member. At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to groups and individuals with high achievements in the Ao Dai parade; Ao Dai singing, dancing and performance; Tug of war; and Bamboo dancing./.
