Quang Binh promotes tourism and investment in the Czech Republic

From Karlovy Vary hot springs to the majestic Son Doong cave, a new bridge of cooperation is being formed between two lands bearing the mark of culture and tourism. The meeting between the leaders of Quang Binh province and the government of Karlovy Vary city (Czech Republic) opens up opportunities to promote investment and develop tourism.

On June 3 (local time), within the framework of the program to promote Vietnamese localities in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium, a delegation of Quang Binh province had a working session with the government of Karlovy Vary province (Czech Republic) to promote tourism, call for investment and promote bilateral cooperation.

The program was attended by Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as Head of the Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Dong Trung, representative of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam); Mr. Duong Hoai Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Czech Republic; Ms. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, Mayor of Karlovy Vary City and members of the Karlovy Vary Regional Council.

At the meeting, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam gave an overview of the potential, strengths and sustainable development orientation of Quang Binh province, emphasizing development pillars such as tourism, innovation, science and technology, cultural industry, etc.

Quang Binh province also expressed its desire to establish a cooperative relationship with Karlovy Vary province, especially in the fields of tourism promotion, investment attraction, resort tourism development, cultural tourism, and building film studio destinations.

Karlovy Vary is one of the most prominent tourist centers in the Czech Republic, famous for its hot springs and modern tourist infrastructure. The city is also considered the “cinema capital” of the world with many international cultural and artistic activities. This is a remarkable similarity with the potential for tourism - culture - cinema development of Quang Binh province, which was chosen as the setting for many famous films such as Kong: Skull Island .
