After the Kera vegetable candy false advertising scandal, the case of exaggerating the benefits of some dairy products by celebrities, the Government is amending the Advertising Law, in which it plans to add some specific provisions related to celebrities participating in advertising. According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , one of the contents that will be added is that those participating in online advertising must be responsible before the law in general and the Advertising Law in particular regarding the products they advertise. At the same time, it plans to increase sanctions related to the level of fines or bans on advertising, even taking measures to restrict artistic activities and limit appearances in the media and social networks.
