Da Nang City has 9 ports, including: PETEC specialized port, Vicem Hai Van Cement Joint Stock Company's specialized port, Tien Sa port, Son Tra port, Regional Petroleum Company V's specialized port, Da Nang Petroleum Products Depot's specialized port, Hai Son port, Song Thu Corporation's Shipyard port. According to the list, Hai Phong City is the locality with the most ports in the country (42 ports).
This Decision takes effect from March 26, 2025, replacing Decision No. 323 dated March 29, 2024 of the Ministry of Transport on promulgating the List of ports belonging to Vietnamese seaports.
The Ministry of Construction assigns the Vietnam Maritime Administration to be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of management and exploitation of ports in Vietnamese seaports according to the provisions of law. Annually, organize updating and submit to the Ministry of Construction for promulgation the List of ports in Vietnamese seaports according to regulations.
